First blog for spring semester by Evan Harr

Hi, my name is Evan Harr, I’m from Orange County, California, I go to SOAR Academy, and I’m 16 years old. My family is made up of my dad, Jim, my mom, Michele, my sister, Nicole, me, and my dog, Bella. My dad is the vice president of purchasing at Ingram Micro, and my mom stays at the house and helps with things around the house and me and my sister.
Some thing I enjoy doing are playing bass, video games, and hanging out with my friends. My favorite baseball team is the Angels, and some bands I like are Offspring, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Cream, and Credence Clearwater Revival. I also like to go to church and listen to music. I’m good at playing bass, video games, snowboarding, and school. I broke my ankle skating, and was in a band. Some places I’ve been are Lake Havasu, Hawaii, Canada, North Carolina, the Appalachian Trail, the Caribbean, and Mexico.
Some things I like and dislike about school is that I like math, and I dislike history. Things I hope to do or accomplish at SOAR are accomplish all my goals, do well in scuba, and make many friends here.

I once again enjoyed reading your BLOG, especially the parts about your renewed interests in playing bass (music to my ears!),
church (Amen!), snowboarding (like the pics from Mammoth?) and hanging out with friends! You are truly an amazing, thoughtful person who has touched our lives (and the others around you) more than you may ever realize! I love love love the fact that you are hoping to accomplish your goals, try scuba diving (you never cease to amaze us!) and make friends- all awesome and attainable! Love you so much:) Mom
